Missing Man Found Dead in Kulgam After Nearly a Month
Kulgam, March 13, 2025: A young man who went missing nearly a month ago has been found dead in the Kulgam district of south Kashmir, officials confirmed on Thursday.
According to officials, the body of 25-year-old Riyaz Ahmad Bajad, a resident of Chandian Pajan in Devsar, was discovered by locals near Veshow Nallah in the Mah area. Upon finding the body, locals promptly alerted the police, who shifted the deceased to a hospital for medico-legal procedures.
Riyaz was one of three men who mysteriously disappeared on February 13, with a missing report registered at Qazigund Police Station.
Police have launched a thorough investigation to determine the cause of death, while the search operation for the remaining two missing individuals is still ongoing.
