The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a series of key notifications impacting private schools, ongoing examinations, and result announcements. These updates aim to enhance transparency and ensure a smooth academic experience for students across the region.
Important Notice for Private Schools
JKBOSE has introduced a special scholarship scheme for Class VIII students, fostering academic excellence and encouraging meritorious students. Schools are advised to check the official JKBOSE portal for eligibility criteria and application procedures.
Exam Rescheduling Due to Weather Conditions
In response to adverse weather conditions affecting hard zone areas, JKBOSE has postponed the following examinations:
Class 10: Originally set for March 1, 2025 – Rescheduled to March 25, 2025.
Class 11: Originally set for March 3, 2025 – Rescheduled to March 27, 2025.
Class 12: Originally set for March 3, 2025 – Rescheduled to March 28, 2025.
Students are advised to prepare accordingly and refer to the updated date sheet on the JKBOSE website.
