The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official schedule for JEE Main 2025 Session 2. The exam will be conducted in April 2025 for candidates seeking admission to engineering, architecture, and planning courses.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Dates

The JEE Main Session 2 exams will be held on the following dates:

• April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9, 2025

Detailed Exam Schedule

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech)

• Dates: April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, 2025
• Shifts:
  • Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Evening: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Note: On April 8, 2025, Paper 1 will be held only in the evening shift (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM).

Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning)

• Date: April 9, 2025
• Time: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

Papers Offered

• Paper 1: For B.E./B.Tech admissions (NITs, IIITs, CFTIs), also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced (IITs).
• Paper 2A: For B.Arch (Architecture).
• Paper 2B: For B.Planning (Planning).

Mode of Examination

• Paper 1: Fully Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Paper 2A:
  • Mathematics and Aptitude: CBT
  • Drawing Test: Offline (A4 sheets)
• Paper 2B: CBT (Mathematics, Aptitude, Planning questions).

Exam Language

• JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, and others.

Note: Language selected during registration cannot be changed later.

Marking Scheme and Question Pattern

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech)

• Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
• Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Section B: Numerical Value Questions
• Negative marking applies in both sections.

Paper 2A (B.Arch)

• MCQs, Numerical Questions, Drawing Questions

Paper 2B (B.Planning)

• MCQs, Numerical Questions, Planning-based Questions

Exam Duration

• Paper 1 and Paper 2 (individual): 3 hours (4 hours for PwD candidates).
• Combined Paper 2A & 2B: 3 hours 30 minutes (4 hours 10 minutes for PwD candidates).
